After many years of verbal warfare, threats of litigation and nearly killing one another with words as sharp as swords made out of ploughshares, incredibly enough Bob Kirkpatrick and I still speak to one another. He taught me nearly everything I know about the Linux operating system, and thus without him, The Used Kharma Lot would have never made its transition to the web many years ago. That is why his is the only advertising I carry on any web pages I create. He has done more than anyone I know to help bring people to the internet and to insure that the internet will always belong to the people, not the idiots who claim to be in charge. He also provides free domain name hosting for many of my friends in music, without which many of them would never receive the notice they richly deserve.

A Weblog of Sorts

I have been remiss in keeping this web site updated, for which I apologize. I have been in a state of mourning ever since George Bush II was able to purchase the Presidency, which is a sort of Used Kharma all its very own. In the meantime, since the choices were limited by history, I have been involved in Empire Building. I suppose, in my own strange way, that is a Republican trait in which George could be justifiably proud, were it not for the fact I totally opposed to everything HE, and with it, everything we as a nation, have come to represent. I remain unswerving in my belief in nonviolence, and persevere those idiots on the TV only because I have not bought a television station... YET. Welcome to Used Kharma.
